Product description of BD7731 anti wear scouring resistant silicon carbide prime coat:
BD7731 silicon carbide prime coating is the high performance abrasion resistant,corrosion resistant,low friction and scouring resistant
polymeric material which compounded by high performance anti wear corrosion resistant silicon carbide micro powder and modified
toughen high strength resin.It is mainly used in erosive wear parts repairing and pre-protecting of drangher fan,water pump,slurry
circulating pump impeller,casing body and slurry stirring paddle etc.
 
Performance features:
1.With excellent performance of wear resistant and corrosion resistant,suitable for the protection of erosive wear,corrosion working condition.
2.With very high bonding strength to various metal substrates.
3.Do not precipitate,do not separate layer.
4.Water resistant,acid resistant,alkali resistant.
5.Can do machining.
6.Low surface activity,do not hang material.

Heat up the test metal plate for curing at the temperature of 80 deg C,the weight change is not more than 1%,when you place it into the above medium for 30 days at room temperature.
 
How to use:
1.Surface treatment: Do coarsening treatment on the pending-repair area, grinding with angle grinder or sand blasting and so on,
the surface after coarsening treatment should be cleaned,the surface after this treatment should be the one coarsening,dry and fresh
substrates,should be no greasy dirt and dust.
 
2.Preparation:Make the A and B two components of silicon carbide prime coat mix uniformly according to weight ratio A:B=8:1,and use it up
within 40 min,Generally it’s while construction and configuration.Every time the most preparation quantity is not more than 2Kg,too much
adhesive is solidified too fast,hasn’t been used up until partial adhesive has solidified and can’t be used. According to the actual temperature,configuration can be appropriately a little more in winter,proper less in summer.If the temperature is too low,you can
properly heat up the A component to reduce viscosity for easy to configure.
 
3.Coating:The suitable coating thickness of BD7731 silicon carbide prime coat is 0.5-2mm,make the well mixed material be coating on
the pending-repair parts,make it infiltrate fully with the substrates.Repair the surface to be smooth after the coating is coated in the suitable size.
 
4.Curing: It can be put into using after curing for 24 hours at the temperature of 25 deg C.When the temperature is below 15 deg C,the coatings
can’t be curing completely,should heat it up to the temperature of 80 deg C and keep this temperature for 2 hours to promote the coatings fully
curing after the coating initial curing (can use the iodine tungsten lamp to do irradiation heating with 40cm distance from the coating).
 
Packaging specification:
10kg/group,packed in a plastic drum.
 
Transportation and storage:
Sealed storage in the cool and dry place. The warranty period is 12 months.Avoid placing it upside down, knocking against and transporting it
as a non-dangerous product during transportation.
